Description of Asphodeline lutea - Große Affodeline

Die Asphodeline lutea, auch bekannt als Jakobsleiter, ist eine mehrjährige Pflanze, die im Frühling hohe Blütenstängel mit großen gelben sternförmigen Blüten bildet.

Sie wächst in dichten Büscheln und breitet sich langsam aus, wobei sie große, grün-bläuliche grasartige Blätter entwickelt. Die Asphodeline lutea mag warme und trockene Standorte, passt sich aber gut an kühleren Regionen an, solange der Boden sehr gut entwässert ist. Das grasartige Aussehen des Laubs passt sehr gut zu Pflanzen mit breiten oder runden Blättern in einem Steingarten oder einem Kiesgarten.
