Safe bet
Japanische Sorte, kräftig und selbstfruchtbar, die reichlich exzellente Früchte namens Nashi oder Nashi-Birne produziert. Die subglobulären Früchte, rund wie Äpfel mit gelb-bronzer Haut, sind knackig, sehr saftig und köstlich süß. Überraschend und angenehm im Geschmack, kann die Nashi-Birne roh oder gekocht verzehrt werden. Es ist eine Frucht mit interessanten ernährungsphysiologischen Eigenschaften. Die Ernte erfolgt im September-Oktober, während der Reifung. Lagerung 2 bis 3 Monate nach der Ernte.
